Abstract:
This article documents new sightings of the leafcutting bee Megachile lagopoda (L.) in Åhus, Scania, Sweden on cotton thistle in a pine forest. The importance of areas of undeveloped land as habitat for rare species and the dispersal range of the bee are discussed.
