Benchmarking on eLearning in universities: impacts and values, European perspectives

Abstract
This paper seeks to investigate impacts and values on benchmarking eLearning in universities, a literary survey for coming research on two European benchmarking initiatives, the EADTU, eXcellence and the ESMU eLearning2009. The survey indicated that quality indicators, benchmarks or critical success factors have not so far been taken into considerations in national or international quality assurance. Neither has values and impacts of benchmarking eLearning been taken into considerations.
