After a short biography of the Scandinavian Queen, the tracks Isabella left on the Swedish historical tradition are discussed, as well as the debated question of her conversion to the Lutheran faith. The result shows a kind and virtuous young Queen, a victim of the politics of her time, who never hesitated to follow her husband in both success and failure, but whose memory was... (More)
