- The paper describes different ways of using adaptive control in industrial applications. Many practical issues must, however, be considered when implementing an adaptive control algorithm. There is a large discrepancy between simulation or academic algorithms and practical algorithms. Several applications an case studies are presented and the advantages of adaptive control are discussed.
