Application of Robust and Adaptive Pole Placement

Åström, Karl Johan LU (1989) American Control Conference, 1989 In Proceedings of the 1989 American Control Conference p.430-435
Abstract
The previous investigation showed the usefulness of a two-degree-of-freedom configuration. Such a controller can also be designed using pole placement. An adaptive controller based on this concept is developed and applied to the problem with good results. Particular features, like selection of model structure, design parameters and excitation, are also discussed.
