For LTE-over-copper systems, however, the need for crosstalk cancellation varies depending on the analog fronthauling architecture and its parameters. A crosstalk handler that is decoupled as much as possible from the rest of the system architecture is thus preferred. Therefore, we propose a time-domain precoding scheme specifically in downstream direction to separate the precoding unit from the LTE signal flow, and perform crosstalk cancellation in an on-demand manner. Estimation of all direct and crosstalk paths is assisted by LTE cell-specific reference signals. The time-domain precoder transforms the interference channel into a crosstalk-free channel with identical direct paths, which allows for low-complexity inter-symbol interference mitigation. We evaluate the concept in terms of signal-to-noise ratio provided for LTE signals using measured wireline channel data.
<relatedItem type="constituent"> <location>
</location> </relatedItem> <originInfo> <publisher>IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.</publisher> <dateIssued encoding="w3cdtf">2016-07</dateIssued> <dateOther type="conferenceDate">2016-05-23 - 2016-05-27</dateOther> <place> <placeTerm type="text">Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia</placeTerm> </place> </originInfo>
<languageTerm authority="iso639-2b" type="code">eng</languageTerm>
<subject authority="lup"> <topic>Telecommunications</topic> </subject> <relatedItem type="host"> <titleInfo>
2016 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC)
</titleInfo> <identifier type="isbn">978-1-4799-6664-6</identifier> <identifier type="isbn">978-1-4799-6665-3</identifier> <identifier type="Scopus">84981346590</identifier> <identifier type="doi">10.1109/ICC.2016.7511479</identifier> <location>
</location> <accessCondition type="restrictionOnAccess">yes</accessCondition> <part> <extent unit="pages"> <start>1</start> <end>6</end> <total>6</total> </extent> </part> </relatedItem> <relatedItem type="link"> <location>
</location> </relatedItem> <recordInfo> <recordIdentifier>07b3b8e6-d2d1-4607-bbe5-1c511cb96c42</recordIdentifier> <recordCreationDate encoding="w3cdtf">2016-05-30T09:12:16+02:00</recordCreationDate> <recordChangeDate encoding="w3cdtf">2025-10-24T13:45:26+02:00</recordChangeDate> <recordDateApproved encoding="w3cdtf">2016-05-30T09:12:16+02:00</recordDateApproved> </recordInfo> </mods></recordData><recordPosition>1</recordPosition></record>

One example of an alternative brass is CuZn21Si3P, which contains less than 0.09 wt-% Pb. The research presented in this article evaluates the machinability of CuZn21Si3P as compared to more common, lead-containing free-machining brasses. The results show a marked decrease in the machinability of CuZn21Si3P. When longitudinally turning CuZn21Si3P the cutting tool failed after 142 min of machining. This tool wear was to a large extent remedied through the use of a coating on the cutting tool. CuZn21Si3P appears as a viable substitute for lead-containing brasses, thus implying the possibility for improving the sustainability of modern production.
<relatedItem type="constituent"> <location>
</location> </relatedItem> <originInfo> <publisher>SAGE Publications</publisher> <dateIssued encoding="w3cdtf">2016</dateIssued> <dateOther type="conferenceDate">2016-05-25 - 2016-05-27</dateOther> <place> <placeTerm type="text">Stockholm, Sweden</placeTerm> </place> </originInfo>
<languageTerm authority="iso639-2b" type="code">eng</languageTerm>
<subject authority="lup"> <topic>Production Engineering, Human Work Science and Ergonomics</topic> </subject> <relatedItem type="host"> <titleInfo>
Materials Science and Technology
</titleInfo> <identifier type="issn">0267-0836</identifier> <identifier type="Scopus">84981715632</identifier> <identifier type="WOS">000389472600002</identifier> <identifier type="doi">10.1080/02670836.2016.1189199</identifier> <location>
</location> <accessCondition type="restrictionOnAccess">yes</accessCondition> <part> <detail type="volume"> <number>32</number> </detail> <detail type="issue"> <number>17</number> </detail> <extent unit="pages"> <start>1744</start> <end>1750</end> </extent> </part> </relatedItem> <relatedItem type="link"> <location>
</location> </relatedItem> <recordInfo> <recordIdentifier>bc384c38-481f-4630-9fe6-631896535b96</recordIdentifier> <recordCreationDate encoding="w3cdtf">2016-05-30T12:58:11+02:00</recordCreationDate> <recordChangeDate encoding="w3cdtf">2025-10-14T12:35:14+02:00</recordChangeDate> <recordDateApproved encoding="w3cdtf">2016-05-30T12:58:11+02:00</recordDateApproved> </recordInfo> </mods></recordData><recordPosition>4</recordPosition></record>

A desaturase from the spotted fireworm moth <i>Choristoneura parallela</i> also operates on myristic acid substrate but produces almost pure (E)-11-tetradecenoate. The two desaturases share 92% amino acid identity and 97% amino acid similarity. There are 24 amino acids differing between these two desaturases. We constructed mutations at all of these positions to pinpoint the sites that determine the product stereochemistry. We demonstrated with a yeast functional assay that one amino acid at the cytosolic carboxyl terminus of the protein (258E) is critical for the Z activity of the <i>C. rosaceana</i> desaturase. Mutating the glutamic acid (E) into aspartic acid (D) transforms the <i>C. rosaceana</i> enzyme into a desaturase with C. parallela-like activity, whereas the reciprocal mutation of the <i>C. parallela</i> desaturase transformed it into an enzyme producing an intermediate 64:36 E/Z product ratio. We discuss the causal link between this amino acid change and the stereochemical properties of the desaturase and the role of desaturase mutations in pheromone evolution.
<relatedItem type="constituent"> <location>
</location> </relatedItem> <originInfo> <publisher>Elsevier</publisher> <dateIssued encoding="w3cdtf">2016</dateIssued> </originInfo>
<languageTerm authority="iso639-2b" type="code">eng</languageTerm>
<subject> <topic>Desaturase</topic> <topic>Stereochemistry</topic> <topic>Di-iron center</topic> <topic>Histidine rich motif</topic> <topic>Mutagenesis</topic> <topic>Moth pheromone evolution</topic> </subject> <subject authority="lup"> <topic>Biological Sciences</topic> <topic>Evolutionary Biology</topic> <topic>Structural Biology</topic> <topic>Genetics and Genomics</topic> <topic>Ecology (including Biodiversity Conservation)</topic> </subject> <relatedItem type="host"> <titleInfo>
Insect Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
</titleInfo> <identifier type="issn">1879-0240</identifier> <identifier type="Scopus">84968903304</identifier> <identifier type="PMID">27163509</identifier> <identifier type="WOS">000378450800008</identifier> <identifier type="doi">10.1016/j.ibmb.2016.05.002</identifier> <location>
</location> <part> <detail type="volume"> <number>74</number> </detail> <extent unit="pages"> <start>68</start> <end>75</end> <total>8</total> </extent> </part> </relatedItem> <relatedItem type="link"> <location>
</location> </relatedItem> <recordInfo> <recordIdentifier>bbe9e3da-3f13-471a-a893-d0869cc4660e</recordIdentifier> <recordCreationDate encoding="w3cdtf">2016-05-30T16:39:41+02:00</recordCreationDate> <recordChangeDate encoding="w3cdtf">2026-01-12T13:08:08+01:00</recordChangeDate> <recordDateApproved encoding="w3cdtf">2016-05-30T16:39:41+02:00</recordDateApproved> </recordInfo> </mods></recordData><recordPosition>14</recordPosition></record>

<relatedItem type="constituent"> <location>
</location> </relatedItem> <originInfo> <edition>1</edition> <publisher>Studentlitteratur AB</publisher> <dateIssued encoding="w3cdtf">2016-05-24</dateIssued> </originInfo>
<languageTerm authority="iso639-2b" type="code">swe</languageTerm>
<subject> <topic>Global Health</topic> <topic>Social Justice</topic> <topic>global climate change</topic> </subject> <subject authority="lup"> <topic>Medical and Health Sciences</topic> </subject> <relatedItem type="host"> <identifier type="isbn">9789144076942</identifier> <part> <detail type="volume"> <number>1</number> </detail> <extent unit="pages"> <total>295</total> </extent> </part> </relatedItem> <recordInfo> <recordIdentifier>5bdb6e66-f7cd-43ce-afb9-9d8a2fdb93c8</recordIdentifier> <recordCreationDate encoding="w3cdtf">2016-05-30T20:00:55+02:00</recordCreationDate> <recordChangeDate encoding="w3cdtf">2025-04-04T14:37:37+02:00</recordChangeDate> <recordDateApproved encoding="w3cdtf">2016-05-30T20:00:55+02:00</recordDateApproved> </recordInfo> </mods></recordData><recordPosition>16</recordPosition></record>

The observation and assignment of a large-amplitude acceptor OH librational mode of the C2H2 - H2O complex at 145.5 cm−1 confirms an intermolecular CH⋯O hydrogen-bonded configuration of C2v symmetry with the H2O subunit acting as the hydrogen bond acceptor. The observation and assignment of two large-amplitude donor OH librational modes of the C2H4 - H2O complex at 255.0 and 187.5 cm−1, respectively, confirms an intermolecular OH⋯π hydrogen-bonded configuration with the H2O subunit acting as the hydrogen bond donor to the π-cloud of C2H4. A (semi)-empirical value for the change of vibrational zero-point energy of 4.0-4.1 kJ mol−1 is proposed and the combination with quantum chemical calculations at the CCSD(T)-F12b/aug-cc-pVQZ level provides a reliable estimate of 7.1 ± 0.3 kJ mol−1 for the dissociation energy D0 of the C2H4 - H2O complex. In addition, tentative assignments for the two strongly infrared active OH librational modes of the ternary C2H4 - HOH - C2H4 complex having H2O as a doubly OH·π hydrogen bond donor are proposed at 213.6 and 222.3 cm−1. The present findings demonstrate that the relative stability of the weak hydrogen bond motifs is not entirely rooted in differences of electronic energy but also to a large extent by differences in the vibrational zero-point energy contributions arising from the class of large-amplitude intermolecular modes.</p>
<relatedItem type="constituent"> <location>
</location> </relatedItem> <originInfo> <publisher>American Institute of Physics (AIP)</publisher> <dateIssued encoding="w3cdtf">2017-05-21</dateIssued> </originInfo>
<languageTerm authority="iso639-2b" type="code">eng</languageTerm>
<subject authority="lup"> <topic>Physical Chemistry (including Surface- and Colloid Chemistry)</topic> </subject> <relatedItem type="host"> <titleInfo>
Journal of Chemical Physics
</titleInfo> <identifier type="issn">0021-9606</identifier> <identifier type="Scopus">85019227309</identifier> <identifier type="PMID">28527443</identifier> <identifier type="WOS">000401776300015</identifier> <identifier type="doi">10.1063/1.4983293</identifier> <location>
</location> <accessCondition type="restrictionOnAccess">yes</accessCondition> <part> <detail type="volume"> <number>146</number> </detail> <detail type="issue"> <number>19</number> </detail> <detail type="artNo"> <number>194302</number> </detail> </part> </relatedItem> <relatedItem type="link"> <location>
</location> </relatedItem> <recordInfo> <recordIdentifier>3807c7c3-ebdf-4f1d-831d-8e22c4898cea</recordIdentifier> <recordCreationDate encoding="w3cdtf">2017-05-30T07:43:19+02:00</recordCreationDate> <recordChangeDate encoding="w3cdtf">2026-03-18T07:46:45+01:00</recordChangeDate> <recordDateApproved encoding="w3cdtf">2017-05-30T07:43:19+02:00</recordDateApproved> </recordInfo> </mods></recordData><recordPosition>20</recordPosition></record>
