  abstract     = {{The complexity of the perishable food supply chain (PFSC) and disruption vulnerability are rising gradually from technical failures, demand fluctuations, equipment failures, and labor shortages. This research emphases on how digital technologies (DT) can contribute to the resilience of these supply chains (SC), particularly when challenged with obstacles. The research employs the DEMATEL technique to identify and prioritize key disruption factors and measure the potential of digital technologies to improve resilience. Through expert input and quantitative analysis, the analysis identifies ten critical barriers across operational, external, and managerial domains. The findings provide actionable understandings into how technologies like blockchain for tracking, IoT for real-time monitoring and AI for demand forecast can mitigate disruption impacts. These research findings support that supply chains can become more flexible by implementing these technologies. Findings also differentiate between risk types and propose targeted strategies for resilience building in dairy, meat, and seafood supply chains. The findings contribute and providing a validated causal framework for digital transformation in perishable food supply chain (PFSC), with implications for policy, stakeholders, practitioners, and theory building.}},
