  abstract     = {{This paper discusses the grammatical and semantic properties of<br/>verbalizing lexical affixes in Takituduh Bunun (Austronesian, Taiwan), arguing that<br/>these lexical affixes are the overt realization of the category-assigning head v, while the<br/>nominal stems of these lexical prefixes are reduced nPs, rather than full DPs. The paper<br/>describes the argument structure and transitivity pattern of these verbalizing lexical<br/>affixes and the modifiability and referentiality of the nominal stems.
