The aim of this study is to examine which interventions probation officers use for clients with identified antisocial risk factors. Six probation officers at two different offices have been interviewed about which interventions they use and how they experience their opportunities to change these risk factors. I found that there is no commonly accepted method among the probation officers. They referred to the correctional programs that probation service can offer and conversations with clients as possible interventions for these risk factors. But there is a considerable uncertainty among the probation officers in the study; there is no certain knowledge about the effectiveness of the used interventions. (Less)
