  abstract     = {{This thesis examines the relationship between age at marriage, fertility, and contraceptive use among married women in Bangladesh, using the cross-sectional 2022 Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (BDHS). Applying linear and logistic regression models, controlling for education, wealth, residence, region, and age, the findings reveal that later age at marriage is associated with lower fertility but also with reduced contraceptive use. Education levels are associated with fewer children and higher contraceptive use. Fertility and contraceptive use vary by region and urban-rural residence, while wealthier groups tend to have fewer children but are less likely to use contraception than poorer women. These patterns reflect complex interactions between socio-economic factors influencing reproductive behavior.}},
