Abstract
Our way of handling the climate crisis is not fast or ambitious enough. We have the opportunity to plan for a better future, not just accept the consequences of our failure. To plan for a better future, we first need to conceptualise a vision of a desired end-point, in this case a climate-neutral and sustainable city. This essay is meant to inspire radical change by using and expanding the radical scenario process in Lund municipality. A vision, Lund Terra Nova, was created using inspiration from a workshop held by the municipality along with established sustainability frameworks. To create the vision, a backcasting approach was used along with the practice of imagining utopia. Lund Terra Nova is then contextualised by expanding on the... (More)

Popular Abstract (Swedish)
(More)
