abstract = {{The Swedish defence market constitutes a relevant context for studying innovation and innovation collaboration. The market is shaped by increasing demands for technological renewal and collaboration, while state-dominated demand, regulation, secrecy requirements and a specification-based procurement logic create particular conditions for innovation activities. Against this background, this study examines the conditions for innovation in the Swedish defence market and how innovation collaboration networks are configured among firms operating within this context. The study is based on two empirical sub-studies: a contextual study of the overarching institutional, industrial and regulatory conditions of the defence-sectoral innovation system, and an egocentric multiple-case study of six Swedish defence firms.}},
