The results shows that the respondents have different opinions of the conceptions above, however clients and professionals agree that institutional treatment in some cases have been necessary. We also found that the final goals of treatment in these cases were diffuse and formulated in a general way. We found some lack of participation by the clients during the planning of the treatment and the follow-up but they were seen by all social workers and therapists as important tools. Our conclusion is furthermore that solutions in the clients homeenvironment is a main issue for the goalfulfillment as well as the other conceptions in our study. (Less)
