Financial exploitation of children worldwide is a global problem, causing consequences for both the national economy and labor market, as well as the working child who is deprived of its rights of education and normal development. As a result, new national laws have been admitted, already existing laws have been amended, educational projects have been established and the common knowledge on the problems regarding the subject have attracted a lot of attention. The national laws are not, however, enough despite the changes made, and most importantly, they are not properly practiced in reality. The employers are therefore given the opportunity to make use of the cheaper labor children constitutes, without having to worry about the consequences. That child labor results in serious consequences for Pakistan as a country is a fact, but above it all, it divests the million of child workers in the country of their health, security and childhood. Keywords; Child Labor, The Convention on the Rights of the Child, Pakistan, Human Rights, Forced Labor. (Less)
