Resistence from the old communists in the government, russian man being marked by historical and ideological matters, poor management of Government finances, and lack of legitimacy and institutions. The conclusion is that Russia should have been treated as a unique country with a great deal of path dependence and therefore the transition theory was not applicable on Russia. (Less)
