The following three dimensions and corresponding scales are used in the essay: Value Politics (New Politics-Old Politics), Redistribution Politics (Left-Right) and Knowledge Politics (Civisism-Competencism). The results of the essay include that The Liberals and The Red-Green Alliance had the most evident positions on the New Politics-Old Politics scale. Concerning the Left-Right scale in the Danish politics there still is a clear difference between the traditional left- and right-wing parties. On the last policy dimension – Knowledge Politics – one may see a beginning cleavage between parties stressing social and civic skills in schools and parties stressing an educational system which main goal is to provide the labour market with competent work force.
