Abstract
It is commonly expressed by political analysts that there are no longer any
differences between the political parties in Swedish politics. The focus of this

portray a society that is heading in the right direction or wrong, at large. The
results indicate that there are substantial differences between the narratives
provided by the political actors, and between the framing of the themes economy,
employment and the condition of the welfare state. At the same time, the level of
conflict vary, both between the political actors, and depending on the issue itself.
More than anything, narratives seems to be highly depending on the political
actor's status as a office-seeking party or a party that is already in office. (Less)
