Difference-in-differences estimates show that access to treatment improved the labour forceparticipation rate significantly and thus reduced the negative impact mental disorders haveon labour market outcomes. Access to treatment led to a rise in labour force participationby roughly 12 percentage points and reduced the disability risk by more than one fourth. (Less)
