En annan ladugård

ladugården i stort.

nyttjas. (Less) - Abstract
- After seeing more and more barns decaying, I decided to make a project about this
particular building. I wanted to investigate what the barn is and how it may be
possible to preserve and take care of it in the future. By gaining knowledge about
the barn’s history, I got a in - depth insight into what these buildings really mean.
By looking at reference projects and by transforming a existing barn, I have
developed a transformation principle to take care of these buildings. My goal
was not only to focus on one building but to take a holistic approach to the barn
in general. It was therefore important that this work not only ended in a design

valuable building with great potential.
My hope is that I can contribute to an increased interest and knowledge in the barn
with my project. With that interest it is possible fot the barn to survive and still be
a part of the countryside in the future. (Less)
