Log in to LUP: http://lup.lub.lu.se/luur using your LUCAT. If you’re not registered yet, click First Time Users, enter the required information and click submit.
If you are an external user (without LUCAT), please click First Time Users and then External User.

Adding a new publication.
Choose Dissertation from the drop down list (Add a new publication) at the top of the page. Your browser must allow pop up in order to open the registration template.

Entering the data
In the Help section in the left menu of your work area you’ll find information about the fields in the registration form. You can also access the Help section file by clicking on the question marks next to the fields in the template or download the manual:

The template is divided into different tabs. The entered data will be saved when you click on a new tab (or when you click the next or previous button at the bottom of the template).

Fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory. Don't forget to upload your thesis in the Files & Access tab. By doing so you will not have to send an electronic copy of the dissertation to the LUB Head Office. If the copyright of your monograph (or the summary of your composite dissertation) is held by you, you have the possibility to make the full text document freely available, choose Open Access when uploading the dissertation.

When you have described your work, click Submit record for Review and the registration will be sent to the LUP reviewer at your department. You can also click Save & Close if you wish to continue the registration later.
