The central public interface is developed by Lund University’s Department of Communication. The main search interfaces is located at: www.lu.se/forskning (the search interface for student papers is found at: http://www.lu.se/student/uppsats-exjobb-och-examensarbete/soek-uppsatser-och-examensarbeten )

It is possible for departments, faculties and/or individual researchers to set up their own customized search interface. You can retrieve records from LUP as XML-files. To integrate the records in your own home page you need to know two standards that LUP uses.

1. The fields used in the XML-files. This document covers the XML-schema used.

2. To retrieve the XML-files use SRU (Search/Retrieval via URL) . For information about what we support of the SRU standard and the values we use for different document types, departments etc. go to http://luur.lub.lu.se/documents/luurSruInfo.html . 3. Then you use XSLT to transform the files to HTML. http://www.w3schools.com/xsl/

The search combines the LUCAT-id for the department with the document type using the Boolean operator AND.

All publications by an author

Use LUCAT-id instead of the authors name.
