- Abstract
- This paper begins to observe two non-socialist parties in Sweden,
Kristdemokraterna and Moderaterna, before and after they won an election. The
two parties formed an alliance with other parties and manifested a political
program. The main focus lies on their campaign promises and their premier
political area as a single party before the election and what results that has been
produced a year after. The method is a comparative analysis between the two
campaign programs and the result, parliamentary decision etc. The largest party
Moderaterna has completed or started on their main political issue, but
Kristdemokraternas development has not been that successful. In the next section

Different perspectives on what is acceptable behaviour for a party in the political
sphere and what obligations a party has towards its voters is the main topic. No
concise conclusion will take place; however a presentation of various theories is
the main target and access to new angels of political ethnics. The last section of
this study presents a discussion about how parties? actions affect not only their
voters but also values of democratic system. (Less)
