Abstract
This study, based on a bullying questionaire, investigates the long-term effects of intervention and preemptive efforts against bullying in Danish public school by t-test for independent means. Correlations between bullying and empathy, responsibility and social integration were also tested. The results indicate that intervention and preemptive efforts have positive effects on bullying and responsibility (defender of victim), but not on empathy or social integration. Gender differences were investigated; boys seem less empathic than girls, but there were no significant differences in degree of bullying. Finally, correlations between empathy and three different kinds of bullying were tested. Empathy seems to be significantly related... (More)
