Can an anorectic person be cured? The method that we chose was to interview ten professionals who worked in treatment facilities. In analysing the interviews we used theories from the literature on anorexia nervosa. We came to the conclusion that anorexia nervosa is a multiple cause disease. The treatment is individually adapted based on the anorectic person's needs. The anorectic person can be cured but it is a long process that involves a lot of hard work. (Less)
