Abstract
The Individual Program (within the continuation school) in Sweden is the third largest. Its purpose is that the students, who for some reason haven?t been able to be admitted to a National Program, shall get the chance to improve their possibilities to attend one. The difficulties the students, who are admitted to the Individual Program are carriers of, have a wide range. The purpose of the Individual Program is that no one should be excluded from any continuation school. In Helsingborg it is the Ungdomscentrum that is the special unit handling the Individual Program.

The Individual Program (within the continuation school) in Sweden is the third largest. The purpose with this paper was to illustrate and examine the students conception of their schooling at the Ungdomscentrum. We have done this by the use of a qualitative method in which we have performed eleven interviews with students from every option of studies that the Ungdomscentrum has to offer. The students over all experiences of Ungdomscentrum have been positive. This is true both of the experiences the students had of how they were being treated as well of their experiences of the educational formula and the program options that are available there. (Less)
