Modigliani’s Life Cycle Hypothesis presence amongst Norwegian pensioners
(2008)Department of Economic History
- Abstract
- The aim of this thesis is to determine to what extend Modigliani’s Life Cycle Hypothesis is present amongst Norwegian pensioners’ behavioural pattern. The high economic growth the pensioners have experienced during working ages should have given them the opportunity to accumulate the level of wealth needed for a smooth consumption throughout their lifetime.
