Abstract
The purpose with this essay was to examine what five second generation Macedonian parents thought about their integration in the Swedish community and how they applied this into the upbringing of their children. This essay included five qualitative interviews with five Macedonian parents born in Sweden and they were between 25 and 35 years old. Central questions were: witch cultural identity do they feel that they have today, what do they consider is important to transfer and remove from both the Macedonian and Swedish culture to their children, and how integrated they are today?
