The aim of this essay is, by means of surveys, to illustrate the attitude of teachers and parents to parental involvement in and treatment of bullying in schools. I have also studied what official government documents say concerning parental involvement in school and how this information is applied. The results of my research show that all the parents questioned want to receive information and be involved when their children face difficulties in school. The majority of the teachers had the same opinion as the parents. Schools need clear guidelines as how the task of dealing with bullying in school and parental information should be managed. Keywords: Bullying, parental involvement, relationships school- home, the Farsta-method. (Less)
