Abstract
Anxiety is a common symptom in the life of young girls life. The aim of this study was to search for positive coping factors in young girl with anxiety and also find out if these factors were related to these of a standardized questionaire (KASAM). Five girls, 18-24 years old who had had a consultation at the Young Womens policlinic the last year were interviewed. Their answeres were related to their scores in the KASAM-questionaire. This study also used Bronfenbrenner ecology of human development as theory. The most important positive coping factors were good relation in their families and among friends and if they got professional help or theroapy. The girls also have belief in the future.
