Subutex - en undersökning om förhållningssätt och tankegångar kring substitutionsbehandling

Abstract
The purpose of this thesis has been to investigate and illustrate today’s line of thought regarding subutex and substitute treatment . The main issues that have been covered are: 1. How is subutex exposed in the media? 2. What are the attitudes towards subutex within different professional groups and organizations? 3. Where does Socialstyrelsen stand in relation to subutex? In order to answer the questions posed above, I made an analysis of the specialist literature regarding subutex. I interviewed a psychiatrist, a social worker, the chairman of a treatment center as well as the chairman of the Svenska Brukarföreningen. A wish for decreased suffering and decreased death rates is deeply rooted no matter what the actual standpoint may be, both in the debate taking place in the media and among the interviewees. (Less)
