The primary as well as the secondary sources are documents of various kinds connected to the project "contractors in social welfare" and to privatisation. The main conclusions were that the ideological motives were the most salient. However, the economical motives probably were of greater importance than what was claimed in the project and the following debate. There were indications in the sources that vouchers may be a future solution for social welfare but nothing certain could be said. It was evident that there were a resemblance in motives for privatization in the project, as well as for geriatric care in the 1990´s. (Less)
