Abstract
Our purpose with this paper was to examine the school and class situation in form nine from the pupils' own perspective, and their thoughts about ending comprehensive school. The main questions were: How do pupils in form nine describe the best vs. worst about school? How do pupils in form nine describe the relations in their class? How do pupils in form nine describe their own role/position in the class? How do pupils in form nine feel about being on their way to finish comprehensive school? We used an opinion poll, with twenty-five questions. Our result showed that many pupils didn't like school and were negative towards school. Their school-situation was full of stress, bad environment and tumbled lessons, which made them... (More)

We used an opinion poll, with twenty-five questions. Our result showed that many pupils didn't like school and were negative towards school. Their school-situation was full of stress, bad environment and tumbled lessons, which made them unconcentrated. Many thought that they were more happy and free in their spear time. Many of the pupils thought that classmates were the most important reason to enjoy school. Our results also showed that some pupils in fact enjoyed school and felt knowledge as a good luggage to carry on, out in life. We found that most pupils looked forward to end school and to go on and make their own choices. (Less)
