How do the professionals within social services, child psychiatry and adult psychiatry acknowledge children of parents with a psychological disorder. What do the participators in the "samverkans-" project do for the children's account? What has the project meant for the children? We made quality interviews with eleven participators coming from different professions within the "samverkans-" project. The result we arrived at was that professionals acknowledge and see children of parents with a psychological disorder to a greater extent since the project began. The "samverkans-" project has contributed to an increased awareness about the children's situation; thereby the professionals have been able to offer the right support efforts. Cooperation over the different areas limits has strengthened the responsibility for the children among the professionals. (Less)
