- The purpose of the essay was to examine and understand how professionals work in different fields of action to observe children of mentally disordered parents and how they work with these children, also what it implies for the child if it doesn't get observed. Some questions we had for our essay were: - Do children of mentally disordered parents get observed and how do the professionals work to observe these children in different fields of action? - Do the different operations collaborate to observe children of mentally disordered parents? - The purpose of the essay was to examine and understand how professionals work in different fields of action to observe children of mentally disordered parents and how they work with these children, also what it implies for the child if it doesn't get observed. Method and procedure: We have performed qualitative interviews with professionals of different fields of action. We analyzed the outcome of the qualitative interviews with parts of the theory of organizations and also compared it with earlier studies. The result of our essay is that children of mentally disordered parents don't get observed as much as they should. There is some collaboration but not as much as the professionals want to, to observe children of mentally disordered parents. We hope and believe that observation of these children will increase in the future. (Less)
