Or has eating disorder to do with the individual, with backgrounds, childhoods or within biological defects? Our central questions where: How is the idea of eating disorder defined? What are the causes and the releasing factors to eating disorder? Our research is based on qualitative interviews with key persons like counsellors and nurses in nine-year schools. We have asked open questions in order not to restrict the answers and instead invite the professionals to speak freely on the topic. We came to the conclusion that fixation on food and our own body is one kind of definition of eating disorder. We also came to the conclusion that eating disorder has multiple causes and releasing factors. (Less)
