- Abstract
- The illustrations of the Mesolithic people that have been done over the years have influenced our picture of our ancestors. The men have been the only persons providing, through fishing and hunting and protecting the family. The women are moving in the domestic sphere, cooking and taking care of the children. Children and old people are not commonly seen in exhibitions. Whay is it like this? We choose to describe the Mesolithic people as we want them to be or how we think they could have been. Since we can´t give a precise picture of the Stone age we show it so the visitors own imagination and questions will be woken up. By that the visitors can make their own interpretations and through that have a possibility to understand the Stone age... (More)
