Different literature and reports were used to build up the results and semi-structured interviews were conducted with social services employees. The result of the study indicates that the social services in a southern Swedish municipality have different methods to prevent burnout in their organisation and... (More)

The result of the study indicates that the social services in a southern Swedish municipality have different methods to prevent burnout in their organisation and that the concept burnout has undergone change, Our results showed that the problem is more complex than only being caused by working environment or a persons private life. This study is important because we will maybe encounter this problem in our future profession and workplace. The results of the study could also assist the social services with their preventive work against burnout. (Less)
