Abstract
The purpose of this work was to investigate the Government’s contribution to cultural activities in school, witch has the name Skapande skola, Creative school. This contribution can only be used to students in seventh to ninth grade. The person that can seek this kind of contribution is for public school, the headman for the schools in the municipality.

For private schools the person that can seek contribution for the school, is the one that has acceptance at the Education Administration. To investigate this I used two examples, Eslöv and Skurup municipality. This contribution can only be used to students in seventh to ninth grade. The person that can seek this kind of contribution is for public school, the headman for the schools in the municipality.

For private schools the person that can seek contribution for the school, is the one that has acceptance at the Education Administration. To investigate this I used two examples, Eslöv and Skurup municipality. Eslöv and Skurup have both applied for Creative school financiering, and have worked with film, literature, photography and identity. To get this
contribution the municipality has to send in a letter of application with a plan of action, and a budget. I also did a comparison between Eslöv and Skurup action plan and application. To get a wider view on creative culture in school, I also took in a private school to compare with.
This private school name is Nya läroverket in Luleå, the schools profile is Art & Science. Art & Science is incorporated in all subjects, at all time. This means that the students are learning to be more free and creative in their learning process. To understand and to get a wider picture of what culture means in our society, I have used Sven Nilssons book Kulturens nya vägar, to get my theoretical input. (Less)
