Abstract
In the 1960:s the Swedish government approved a decision that led to the construction of about one million households during the years 1965-1975. Today these buildings are both deprived and suffer from high energy consumption. To address these problems individually is very expensive. If it instead is done simultaneously substantial savings can be made. The company AB Helsingborgshem owns and manages a housing community
along Grönkullagatan in Helsingborg. These properties are, like many others built during the sixties in great need of renovation. Simultaneously with the renovation it is wise to take measures to make the buildings more energy efficient. In this report proposals for such actions are presented, compared and recommended. A...
A model of Grönkullagatan 1 has been made in the computer program Isover Energy 2, the buildings current energy consumption has been calculated based on this model. The proposed measures have been based on vast studies of relevant literature and earlier renovated objects. Rules and laws concerning renovation and energy efficiency of buildings have also been taken for account. In order to provide concrete proposals on which energy efficiency measures should be implemented, a more comprehensive survey of the building is necessary. The options for energy efficiency measures are many and profitability is highly dependent on how much costs can be spread out on already necessary renovations and upgrades. The energy prices also determine the immense of energy efficiency measures that are profitable. If the energy price increases a greater investment could be profitable. The buildings along Grönkullagatan are in great need of renovation. We believe that many of the more comprehensive energy efficiency measures should be reasonable to conduct. However the extent of the renovation determines which combination of measures that delivers the best return. (Less)
