- Abstract
- The main objective of my bachelor thesis was to describe and analyse the intricate bipolar power relationship between personal assistants and their clients. My focus was limited to the relationship between personal assistants and clients who have aggressive behaviour as an aspect of their functional impairment. To approach the phenomena I chose a qualitative method and interviewed nine persons from three different perspectives. The interview material was then analysed through Johan Asplund’s theory about micro level power but also through parts of Michael Foucault’s power analysis.
