- Abstract (Swedish)
- In the past few decades, the travel habits of the world’s population has
changed drastically. Our trips are getting more frequent, and our
expectations are getting higher. Also the reason for travelling has
changed; with globalization and technology it has been very common
to travel far and often in work and a large amount of people tend to
spend a lot of their time underway.
This has resulted in faster means of transport and more convenient

Times are changing, and will continue to do so in the same direction
according to all statistics and forecasts. The one and only thing that
more or less has stayed the same during this evolution of travelling is
our luggage. The one thing that we put all our valuables and trust in
when going on these trips.
In this work, I have created the optimum travel suitcase for the modern
frequent traveller. What do we really look for in a bag? What do we
want from it? What are we afraid of and how could these worries be
distinguished? Why is there always a certain stress and feeling of chaos
when going away for short trips? Perhaps the entire experience of the
trip could be positively changed by the suitcase?
I like to think so. (Less)
