Abstract
Objective:
The objectives set out for this Master Thesis were:
· How should a coffee machine for home use be designed and which features
should the machine provide?
· How should an experimental prototype be manufactured?
· How should an experimental prototype be tested?
Method:
The thesis is written as a product development report and essentially follows the
methods described by Ulrich and Eppinger found in the publication Product Design
and Development.
Conclusions:
A coffee machine was designed and an experimental prototype was manufactured,
due to shortage of time, tests of the prototype will be made after this thesis is printed.
