Abstract
An oil spill accident may lead to vast environmental damage and economic losses. In order to minimize the consequences from an oil spill accident, a well shaped response support should be developed. Response support has the ability to reduce stress and therefore make the rescue operation and decontamination operation more efficient. In this report oil spill accidents, organization theories and types of response supports are presented along with a part presenting stress. An analysis presents thoughts regarding what the response support should look like and what it may consist of. In conclusion some types of response support should
visually be shaped according to Räddningstjänstens insatsplaner (2001) and Visuella Variabler betydelse för... (More)

visually be shaped according to Räddningstjänstens insatsplaner (2001) and Visuella Variabler betydelse för insatsplaners utformning (1988). The response organization regarding the oil spill response support should be structured according to the organization that is presented in Förstudie till Oljeskyddsplan Skåne Nordväst (2007). Many types of documents
and other types of support may act as response support during the oil spill response depending on work task. (Less)
