Sustainable occupations and health in a life course perspective
Abstract
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a disease that can affect daily life in many ways. The symptoms that the disease may cause are arthritis, pain and fatigue. It has been shown in previous studies that leisure activities among persons with RA are affected. The purpose of this study was to investigate the activities of daily living during one day in people with RA with a special focus on leisure activities. The data collection was done by Tomorrow Diary and interviews with eight people. The results showed that the investigation group spent the most of their waking hours doing self-care and leisure activities.
