Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze how disabled people’s sexuality is portrayed in reports and articles. We are inspired by discourse analysis theory as an analytical tool to explore this subject in this paper. We are analyzing three different time periods of history for disabled individuals in Sweden. We intend to explore how we talk about people with disability and their sexuality in articles and in SOU-rapports during 1930s, 1980s and 2000th. We have analyzed our material by using theories about power inspired by Foucault and normality.
