With taking this de-velopment in consideration researchers are now illuminating the importance of commu-nicative leadership. The research fields leadership, organizational communication and organizational theory constitute the theoretical frame of reference for this thesis. We have through seven qualitative deep interviews examined the occurrence of communica-tive leadership, how it is manifested and what is having an impact on it within two public organizations. The empirical material is put in relation to the theoretical framework in the analysis. There, we can conclude that communicative leaders to some extent occur even though some barriers exist for practising communicative leadership in the organization. Thus, the need for a communicative leadership shows to be great. (Less)
