The aim of this study is to examine what kind of work is being done in relation to unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in Sweden. The study is based on six interviews with seven different representatives from organizations who all are working with unaccompanied minors. These organizations are: the board of Migration, Homes for the minors, non- profit organizations and a guardian for the minors. Four main themes are discussed. These main themes are: Unaccompanied minors seeking asylum, different organizations, division of work and how the minors are being included in the society.

The result of the study is that there are different kind of organizations and actors that are participating during the asylum process. Every representative for the organizations that is participating in the study is essential during this period. The division of work with the unaccompanied minors is to be found at different levels, some of them are working in daily contact and some of them are working with legal and administrative work. The division of work is unclear and cooperation is not working. The results also shows that the majority of the staff that was participating in the interviews thinks that it is important for unaccompanied minors to integrate into the society directly when they arrive to Sweden. The staff that was participating in the interviews also thinks that the minors need for example the Swedish language, the school and socialization with other minors in order to be included in the society.
