Abstract (Swedish)
E.ON Elnät Sverige(EES) decides on 150 contracts towards other net owners each year and the cost for these is a significant part of EES’s budget. If the electricity load in one point of connection exceeds the contract levels EES is subject to a severe fine. It is therefore desirable for the company to have a thorough analysis of what causes power volumes to exceed contract levels and to quantify the risks involved, to be able to decide on optimal contract levels.
This thesis develops a model for predicting the electricity load and to optimize the contract level in Söderåsen using a multiple linear regression. It also presents a risk analysis of the different factors affecting the electricity load. The model is applied to create scenarios... (More)

This thesis develops a model for predicting the electricity load and to optimize the contract level in Söderåsen using a multiple linear regression. It also presents a risk analysis of the different factors affecting the electricity load. The model is applied to create scenarios that are used as a base for deciding on the risk level the company is prepared to take.
The thesis results in several templates that can be used in the process of deciding the contract levels. The most significant result is a template for documenting the exceedings of contract levels and their causes. Also a detailed time plan for the process that leads to deciding the final contract levels is presented. (Less)
