- The purpose of the study was to investigate how employees in the staffing industry experience their psychosocial work environment, which control they have over their work situation, the requirements that they are experiencing at work, and which level of social support that is available. The data were collected through in-depth interviews
with seven participants who are employed on temporary agencies. The material that was gathered by interviews were analyzed by Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), which is a hermeneutic phenomenological method. The participant responses indicates that they are experiencing fairly high
mental stress. It was revealed that they are under-stimulated because of their tasks, they perform bad, has difficulty with the social connection and that they feel a lack of control at work. (Less)
