Abstract (Swedish)
This essay is a part of an extensive research project concerning multi-storey timber framed constructions in Sweden, initiated by Södra T im ber and the Department of Structural Engineering at Lund Institute ofTeclmology. The major part ofthe report is dealing with deformations in timber frames due to load and varying moisture content from an experimental point of view. It also includes a field-study of a construction-project, Orgelbänken in the city of Linköping, designed and contracted by Skanska. Orgelbänken is one of the first multistorey timber framed constructions in Sweden.
